Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Chaos Theory was known as Splinter Cell 3 during development. An early demo was shown at E3 2004 with some features that have changed in the final release.
- The health bar was originally seen down with the sound and light meter.
- It showed Bruce Morgenholt being killed at Hokkaido instead of Zherkizhi.
- Early look at the penthouse stage has hostiles hanging around in the room holding Devorak instead of old man.
- The other Splinter Cell agents initially had light blue lights.
- Kobu guards had blue lights on their chest.
Splinter Cell: Double Agent (version 2)
- Early screenshots showed that the Third Echelon agents may have crossed paths with Sam and Jamie during the riot at Ellsworth. In the final release the agents are not seen while playing as Sam.
- During the Train mission, Enrica would play more of a role sneaking with Sam past guards, as opposed to being boosted over a fence at the beginning of the mission.
- Early art shows Sam being forced to execute Cole Yeagher.
Splinter Cell: Double Agent (version 1)
- John appeared to play a more active role in the first mission, instead of splitting off from Sam early on in the mission.
- Sam was seen wearing the Upper Echelon Suit during the Shanghai mission.
- The sniper attachment was initially meant to be featured in the game. A unfinished version of the attachment is accesible by modding the game files.[1]
