The Sticky EMP (ElectroMagnetic Pulse) is a device that sticks to surfaces and disables electrical equipment.

Function

The Sticky EMP delivers a localized electromagnetic pulse, disabling lights and security devices nearby connected with an electrical subsystem for a short period of time. The Sticky EMP can be used to create shadow paths to hide from hostiles, or target power boxes near laser trip wires to disable them. Hostiles are unaffected by the pulse, but will investigate the area when they see lights shutting off, or if equipment stops working.

The Sticky EMP can disable most electronic devices, however, some are EMP-shielded and cannot be affected, same goes to the EMP bolts used by the crossbow. The latter is easier to use because it has better range, the Sticky EMP is easier to unlock though.
