A taser is a weapon found among the ARGUS Mercenaries that are used to deploy non-lethal amounts of electricity towards a Spy. This non-lethal weapon is usually used to stun spies incase the current main weapon is out of ammo or used to stun a spy who is stealing an important object. The taser is also available as a special weapon in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, where it is one of the game's handiest weapons since it allows Sam to knock out hostiles non-fatally from a limited distance.
